When I started this article, I honestly thought it would take me about 20 minutes. I counted a few girls, on one hand, with fledgling side hustles that I wanted to write about in the hope to show you, dear reader, that it is of the utmost importance to also dabble in the world of business and creativity in order to survive a flogging in the world of fashion.
Without sounding too jaded (I am on the ugly side of my 20’s…you really can’t blame me), I am about to state the obvious: a career in modeling is fleeting. Girls these days need to stand out from the crowd, and also use the limited time in modeling as a platform for their future dreams.
Now for the fun part- your inspiration! Here is my list of girls that have both start up businesses and full-blown companies. I hope this whets your appetite for a new business adventure and sets your sights high for the next chapter, whatever that may be.
