How exactly do supermodels get married? This simple answer is just like everyone else, but the bride without question is beyond supremely gorgeous with a stunningly beautiful designer dress that most modern brides do not have the budget for. What goes on at a supermodel’s wedding? Of course, there is the cake, the guests and flowers, but all with a fashionable twist. The following are highlights of some famous supermodel weddings.
Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady
This famous power couple loved getting married so much they actually were married twice. With a supermodel and superstar quarterback combo, the first ceremony was hush-hush and very little details were leaked out to the public. For the first wedding, which took place at a private church in Santa Monica, Gisele looked gorgeous in a white sequenced gown by Dolce & Gabbana, carrying a bouquet of pristine white roses. The ceremony was all about family and the reception took place at the couple’s home where Tom barbequed aged New York strip steaks.
Wedding number two took place in Costa Rica complete with a sunset ceremony The wedding was also extremely private with only 25 guests and the supermodel wore a shear white gown, 10 ft. long veil and carried a bouquet of white orchids, while Tom wore a designer grey suit. This beautiful couple clearly said “I do” twice in style with the family and destination wedding. The rest of the details of this wedding however were a closely guarded secret.
Rhea Durham and Mark Wahlberg
In 2009, Rhea and Mark tied the knot at Good Sheppard Catholic church in Beverly Hills, California. Rhea wore a strapless, white wedding dress laced with silver embroidery designed by Marchesa, which was accessorized with Neil Lane jewelry (a platinum diamond cushion-cut ring, complemented by a diamond bracelet and earrings). Her famous actor husband looked sharp in a two-button, notch lapel Giorgio Armani suit, complimented with a white collared shirt and light lavender necktie. The ceremony was only attended by their 3 children and 12 close friends. After the short 45-minute ceremony, the couple celebrated their reception with their guests and family at Mark’s Beverly Hills home.
Liberty Ross and Jimmy Lovine
Liberty and Jimmy tied the knot this year on Valentine’s Day and truly threw the traditional wedding rules out the window. In theme with Valentine’s Day, the couple asked all of their female guests to where red and even Oprah participated! Among the star-studded attendance was Lady Gaga who did not participate in the wear red theme and showed off a plunging black dress with matching black gloves. The couple was married at record producer David Geffen‘s Beverly Hills mansion, where the bride wore a vintage navy and black Givenchy Haute Couture gown complete with a Stephen Jones headpiece, long black veil and red floral bouquet. Jimmy wore a crushed navy blue Tom Ford tuxedo with a black lapel and bowtie.
