When you are in the hectic fashion industry or a women who cares about style for that matter, it really is all about the hair. I can personally tell you that your hair takes one giant beating when you are a model. I remember after one fashion week after I was in a couple of shows, when I returned home to take a look in the mirror and pondered what happened to my lovely locks. It is still all about the hair and I was beyond pleased to discover the AlanaKristen Salon in NSW, Australia located in a great location along the Sydney Harbour – it is truly my home when it comes to my hair.
As a model, how would I describe AlanaKristian salon? In two words, AlanaKristian is all about family and fabulous hair. Or, in my case as a model, should I say fabulous repair? AlanaKristian in November 2014 became the flagship salon for Kérastase. I cannot tell you how much I love this product and the fact AlanaKristian was selected as the flagship salon speaks accolades for the talented team. Kérastase is the perfect solution for my damaged hair and the AlanKristian expert staff is great when it comes to product knowledge about this great line.
The other thing I love about this salon is that is very family-oriented. I am a big family person myself and always am on the phone with my family when I am out of the country on modelling assignments. The salon itself was named after Alan and Kristian, the children of owners Suzi and Zoran Lozevski. Their children are also in charge of marketing along with the 7 highly experienced stylists, makeup artist and salon assistants; all with the goal of providing a memorable experience, where the clientele leave feeling pampered, relaxed and beautiful. The salon is very unique in that it has specific stations that are truly geared towards the client’s journey, starting with two consultation areas with 200x magnification diagnostic cameras. There is also a sun-drenched technical table which seats 6-8 people, a hair spa area for bespoke rituals complete with first class full-body massage chairs and a private room for clientele who require discretion. Most importantly, AlanaKristian offers fully- integrated beauty services.
All I can I say is I am now an AlanaKristian regular and my hair always looks stunning. Whether you are visiting the Rose Bay area and need special occasion hair or a full-time professional model such as myself, this is my home for my hair.
