With the arrival of new year, most people are focused on healthy habits, especially healthy eating. While a majority of people are not supermodels, they can certainly eat like one. Most people do not realize what models eat or do not eat. The following are some healthy diets and surprises that are straight from the horse’s mouth.
Karlie Kloss
This Victoria’s Secret runway model focuses on staying hydrated before for the show. In addition to drinking a lot of water, this fashion beauty also consumes a bunch of different juices. For breakfast she has been known to often have a “Karlie’s Kookie”, which is made up of almond flour, a handful of almonds, oats, agave and olive oil. Karlie eats these cookies, because it’s clean energy and very similar to eating a power bar.
Jordan Dunn
Jourdan is a British Victoria’s Secret runway model who enjoys a full British breakfast. This traditional breakfast is comprised of fried bacon, poached or scrambled eggs, fried or grilled tomatoes, toast with butter, sausage and baked beans. Some mornings however she will have green tea and fruit. Jourdan doesn’t focus on crazy diets, but focuses on eating healthy food. She is currently into South Asian cuisine and healthy curry. Jourdan makes her own Thai and Malaysian curries, enjoys a nice stir fry or steamed fish.
Joan Smalls
Joan believes that there is isn’t anything that you can eat that will drastically change your body before a show, so the sky is the limit. She avoids caffeine and will typically have fruit because she needs the sugar. Joan will also have yogurt, granola and some eggs.
Lily Donaldson
Lily is another British Victoria’s Secret runway model and also enjoys the traditional British Breakfast. When this option is not available, she loves a big bowl of porridge complete with syrup, milk and sometimes honey. After the show, she is a huge fan of sausage rolls.
Devon Windsor
Devon enjoys eggs and sausage, but will settle for yogurt/smoothies when they are not available. She has a high metabolism and does not really have to be too careful, but believes in everything in moderation. Devon will even eat a cupcake (one, not five). During Thanksgiving, she ate all of the homemade cooking and then worked out afterward. She absolutely loves stuffing and sweet potatoes prepared in any way. Devon personally made two pumpkin pies for the celebration.
Blanca Padilla
Blanca doesn’t really keep a very strict diet, but eats very healthy and really watches what she eats, along with exercising religiously; especially while on the road. On certain mornings her breakfasts consist of only green apples. Blanca also really likes chicken, because it is lean and full of protein.
Jaquelyn Jablonski
Jacquelyn believes anything goes when it comes to breakfast and will eat what is available. She prefers scrambled eggs to other types and always eats in moderation. After the runaway show, sometimes she craves pizza. Basically, she eats anything her body is craving and again, everything in moderation.
